Matthew M. Herron

Founding Member

Matthew founded Herron Business Law after a successful 14-year career at The Debt Doctors, which he helped start in 2005 and eventually purchased from his former partners. His experience with bankruptcy and insolvency, workouts, healthcare compliance, litigation strategy and general business matters shaped his vision to form Herron Business Law, a firm designed to be a trusted legal partner and creative strategist to small businesses, restaurants and bars, healthcare organizations, startups and construction firms throughout the region. Matt’s client focused and caring approach is the foundation of the practice. His passion is helping clients through education, recognition of value and giving them the tools to have a healthy and successful financial situation.

Prior to The Debt Doctors, Matthew worked with some of the region’s best bankruptcy and insolvency and construction law firms, where he honed his skills by working with physicians, lawyers, small business owners and professional athletes.

Matthew resides in the East End of Pittsburgh with his wife, Kate, and two children. He is involved with St. Vincent DePaul Society and Winchester Thurston School.
